They aren't among Mattel's most interesting dolls, but you know me, I have a "work around," lol.

Cool. I recently had to stop using my clear with pink trim big umbrella because it no longer stays up. Sigh. That was a good umbrella. I run through the cheaper ones more quickly. That is the rain does, ha ha.

I think we have the same Liv one. Alas, I did not get that BMR outfit with the umbrella and the yellow raincoat. Kudos to you for getting it. That was a great find ;-)

P.S. I think I missed Easter in my holiday assessment so I think I'll be down for being a really bad woman, lol. Anyway, you don't have to celebrate Women's History Month. Or you can - it's optional.D7anahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15497306465109590188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5580986768097342172.post-32162452416754323952014-03-05T23:35:55.559-05:002014-03-05T23:35:55.559-05:00I must be a bad woman because I didn't know it...I must be a bad woman because I didn't know it was Women's History Month at all.

I don't have an Irish Barbie. I had to do an image search to see what would make one Irish. Red hair and a green dress. Got it, lol.

I collect umbrellas! Over my lifetime I've probably had 60 umbrellas. I did use them all so right now I only have about 12. They sure do break easy. I only have 2 doll umbrellas. A fabulously cute LIV one and there is a plaid one in my BMRoberts sets.Muffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06121187068323359131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5580986768097342172.post-64048208614773595962014-03-05T22:37:15.127-05:002014-03-05T22:37:15.127-05:00Hi Carrickters! That's why it is so helpful to have comments from people who live in countries/continents where something is supposed to be happening.

Are you celebrating the removal of your husband's beard and mustache? That's kind of him to do that for charity.

Well, happy upcoming Labour Day. (Hope you don't have to work too hard that day, lol.)

BTW I have NOT forgotten about the cornrow doll hair post. Seems I do not have any dolls with cornrows so I am seeking permission elsewhere to "borrow" a photo or to link to dolls wearing that style ;-)D7anahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15497306465109590188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5580986768097342172.post-53716600182565161472014-03-04T02:16:31.493-05:002014-03-04T02:16:31.493-05:00Interesting that you say Women's History month...Interesting that you say Women's History month is celebrated in Australia - it doesn't get much publicity here. However, on March 10 the states of Victoria and Tasmania will be celebrating Labour Day (or 8 hour day). In Victoria, this is also the 50th year of the Moomba festival so there will be a big parade in Melbourne. The other thing I will be 'celebrating' this month is 'The Great Shave' - my husband is shaving off his beard and mustache (which he has had for over 30 years) to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.Carricktershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09323704570291088000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5580986768097342172.post-39208014505173373632014-03-03T22:09:50.807-05:002014-03-03T22:09:50.807-05:00Hi Nymphaea! I wish no or little rain for you, but I do not mind rain for me as long as the temperature is warm and NO ice is under my feet ;-)D7anahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15497306465109590188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5580986768097342172.post-22042205370281257382014-03-03T20:35:30.331-05:002014-03-03T20:35:30.331-05:00Looking forward to your March posts!
