Saving Ryan Whittaker
Ryan Whittaker ... almost removed from the Final Fantasy outfit.
Next step? I'll heat a knife to remove his feet and one leg from those boots. Glue on the left foot. Allow time for it to set. Then I can re-dress him.
There's a military movie called "Saving Private Ryan" - I figure liberating Ryan Whittaker from the sewn and bolted on outfit was "saving" him ;-D
He's nice looking underneath ... a little thin, but that's fine. Do you note, he has molded on, flesh-colored underpants? Well, it could have been a molded on tee shirt, too. Sigh. I am resigned to the coyness of toy manufacturers.
Hi, Matt! I had considered body swapping, but his original body seemed intact so I cut and ripped away the plastic and cloth uniform. Now I have the fun of heating a knife and cutting away the boot in early August. Impeccable timing, hmmm?
Alas, Roxanne, I did not finish Ryan. Poor man still has one boot on and the other boot/foot disconnected from his body. Thanks for the reminder though. I need to "repair" him and some others recently "injured" sigh. Will post photos of the before and after scenes ;-)
Funny title. :)
ReplyDeleteSo that's what he looks like underneath...

When I salvages my Ryan Whittaker, I just transplanted the head to another body. ~ Matt, POSSE
