"Borrowing" Mixis Fashions - Impromptu Fashion Show

Ever wonder what other dolls or action figures can wear Mixis fashions? I had submitted photos for a thread on this query at the Men With Dolls board. Below are some additional photos of other dolls and action figures wearing Mixis fashions.

Sideshow Buffy wearing LE Rosa's brown shrug and LE Opal's pants, Mego Diana Ross wearing LE Emerald's turquoise tank and LE Rosa's denim mini, and Lanard I-Girl Rio wearing LE Opal's orange tank and LE Emerald's denim mini.

BBi Perfect Body Hispanic wearing Happy Family Alan's shirt and LE Opal's pants, Jakks Pacific G.I.R.L. Force Kulture Shock Jaz wearing Sunshine Opal's sundress, Get Set Club Fiona wearing Sunshine Houda's sundress, and Get Real Girl Gabi wearing LE Opal's orange tank and LE Emerald's denim mini.

Fashion Fever Barbie (Belly button body) in LE Emerald's tank and LE Opal's pants, Ladies Mission Nun Kyoko Tenryu in a Ken tee shirt and LE Rosa's denim mini (stockings, boots, and cross her own), and Jakks Pacific Jaz showing the back of her borrowed sundress that - yay! actually closes - fits.

Surprise! Paparazzi Bait Adele in Sunshine Rosa's sundress.

  2. You're welcome! My pleasure to line them up.

I am not as satisfied with the quality of these photos saved under the "Best for Web" option - I had previously been saving them at 50%. The "Best for Web" option though probably loads faster.

  3. I love to see what other dolls can wear the clothes. It's so much fun to change doll clothes.

  4. Looks like the Mixis bottoms can fit CGs! That's great. That means Anneka and Will can have some high-quality skirts and pants. Did you try the dresses and tops on CGs?

  5. Hi, Renee, and thanks for visiting here :-D.

Yes, changing outfits is always fun. Nice to see who can share with whom.

  6. Hi EA!

The Mixis pants fit the BBi Perfect Body dolls well. The Mixis pants do NOT fit the Ladies Mission figures though ... the pants are too small.

I would NOT put a Mixis tank on a Perfect Body or Ladies Mission figure because those figures have FULL breasts. The tank would stretch and lose its shape for the Mixis dolls.

I tried Opal's turquoise dress on a Miss Fear and on a Perfect Body. Excellent fit. The pants and skirts fit the Perfect Body, too.

I have CGs, but I haven't removed their original clothes from them. I'm a little anxious about the lack of feet ;-P

  8. Now after a year, I want that Adele! It so sucks being broke!

  9. Hi Ebony or Neighbor-in-Brokeness ;-}

I lucked out and got Paparazzi Bait Adele, but I am sooo missing some of the new Dynamite Girls and some of the new Fashion Royalty dolls. Great gusty sigh. Got to find work and sell some stuff.

I still want last year's Takeo and Adele from the 1998 Integrity Convention. Label me "pathetic" LOL.

  10. Are the Mixis' shoes compatible with the Get Real Girls? I just got into the GRGs and I'd love some clothes that work with them. I love the new Mixis outfits and it would be awesome if those fit the GRGs!

  11. Hi Tanz Fanatika!

The Get Real Girls can wear Mixis dresses, tops, skirt, pants, but NOT Mixis shoes - at least NOT the sandals, the pumps, the leather boots or the black strappy hi-heels. The GRGs feet are wider and flatter (no foot arch) than the Mixis' feet.

  12. Hey...I'm in Philly too! I'm late to this discussion -- but what shoes are compatible with Jakks G.I.R.L. Force/Charlie's Angels dolls. I am customizing one I got online but with no shoes. Any guidance is appreciated!

  13. Hi CR! Fellow Philadelphian ... yay! Nice to "meet" you ;-D Let me know if you have a doll-action figure related blog or website so that if I do a future article about local (Philly) collector-enthusiasts, I can make sure that your name and information is in that post.

Other shoes for Jakks Pacific's G.I.R.L. Force/Charlie's Angels/Josie and the Pussycats dolls include Mego soft plastic shoes for 12.5" dolls like Farrah Fawcett and Diana Ross. Alas those shoes may be hard to find because they were from 1978 or so.

I will check for other shoe matches for the larger-footed female dolls and submit that information in a separate post. Thanks for asking the question.

Do send queries about older posts: I love the chance to expand on previous posts.
