She's Here! Calista at a Price Even I Could Afford
Big Lots! sold her for $8.00. How could I resist lovely BFC, Ink. Calista at that price?
D7ana, if I could reach through the computer, I would .... Oh never mind. Guess who spend some time today looking for a new Calista. I did find some of the others and the twins, but no Calista. I almost bought the twins, but to be honest, I am not sure how I feel about these dolls. Are they made of rubber and therefore poseable?
Ms. Leo, I haven't forgotten about you. I just figured I would try to luck up and find a dressed Calista with extra clothes.
Calista was the 1st BFC doll I bought. She was on clearance but she is too cute and actually the cutest of the bunch(MHO). I picked up the twins last year on clearance @ WM for $9. A friend repainted them for me.
I'm not looking for any one in particular. I don't know enough about them to be picky. I was just wondering if the bodies allowed for any movement. Can she sit?
Roxanne shows a lot of Calista photos; I don't think that Calista is articulated. I think she can sit, but her elbows and knees don't seem bendable to me.
You lucky thing you! What a steal!
ReplyDeleteToo true, Vanessa! Like the purchase was meant to be ;-D
ReplyDeleteShe is a grat doll at regular price and she is even better on sale! Contrats!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ms. Leo. Yes, she's an adorable doll at any price - well, almost any, lol - but on sale! Yes!
ReplyDeleteThe other BFC, Ink. girls were also on sale for $8.00 except the twins who were $16 on sale.

ReplyDeleteOh, Vanessa, are you looking for the bikini wearing Calista. Darn, I think she might have been articulated. That would be cool.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Dolls4Moi, on your Calista find AND the twins find.

ReplyDeleteWow, what a great buy. Impressive. I'd go for it too if I had such opportunity :D Here in Prague they're so damn expensive!
