Walmart Clearance Item - Jumping Up and Down!
I've lucked out and got a "good buy" on a Liv playset: Hayden's After School Pet Adoption Center for $7.00 at Walmart. Am I happy about it? Yes, I am. I finally have that elusive hamster. Cute, isn't it? (Not that I want anywhere near a hamster in real life, in flesh, but what a find at this scale.) And the hamster has an exercise wheel ... all together now ... AAAAHHHH ....
I also like the dog in this set although its posing ability is limited. Sigh, only the Smartees pets are articulated. Or maybe there are other articulated pets ... please share if you know of any. I like my playscale crew to live with wee creatures. And larger ones ... need to get Farmer Miles' mule out someday.
Walmart had some other Liv accessories on sale, but the cost seemed high: a pair of bowling shoes, a bowling ball, and a bowling bag for a little over $5.00. (Not sure I want any of my DAFs bowling anyway. I have mini pins, but to set up an alley for them ... might be more work than I want to do.) Alas, I had removed my batteries so I could not photograph those other items.
The other Liv playset I want to find - preferably for sale is Daniela's drum set. Now that's a cool set.)
From someone who really is not into collecting dolls...I am happy for you and I must say, the hamster with wheel is really cute! :)
ReplyDeleteK-Mart had this same set for 50% off today. They also had the Liv Boutique and some wigs for 50% off the clearance price. I got the Swirl Ponytail Barbie instead.
ReplyDeleteHooray, Dana! Isn't it nice to have a successful Grail Quest conclusion? :^D
ReplyDeleteI picked up these sets a couple of months ago. I couldn't resist the clearance prices. I left the drum set behind 3 times for $6 and when I saw it the 4th time for $7 I had to jump on it myself. I hope you find it
ReplyDeleteGreat find. I bought mine from Walmart a few months ago for $6.50. It is still sitting next to my bed unopened. It is going into the pet store that is coming up soon. That bowling set is regular prioe $5.97, so it didn't sound like such a great sale. I do have plans to build a bowling alley one day in the distant future. If I am not mistaken, that drum set is the same drum set from a previous doll set. Was it the Bratz or MyScene? I have it down in my basement.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your find Dana! :)
ReplyDeleteHey cuz, hi and thanks for dropping by! Yes, the hamster is adorable, ain't it?
ReplyDeleteFrannie, thanks for the tip about Kmart. Wonder if ... no, I doubt mine would have anything as neat as the drums on sale. Sigh. And I should not look anyway ...
Thanks, MiladyBlue! It is sweet ;-D
Congratulations, Dollz4moi! I'm hoping to find that drum set, too.
Hi Vanessa! Thanks for that link to Limbe Dolls. What a cool blogger! And soo generous!
The Bratz had a drum set, too. (As well as the Liv girls or Daniela of the Liv). And yes, you are GREAT! Barbie had a drum set for the Jam 'n Glam dolls.
Thanks, Niel! Glad you are glad for me ;-)
Chances are you can still get the Lil Ty dolls for $4.99 from Walgreens. That is the normal price. I don't know if they always carry them, but I would guess, they may still have a few. You are welcome about Limbe Dolls. She is so creative.
ReplyDeleteThat $4.99 price is fair; good to know that's the normal price. Thanks, Vanessa ;-D
