Translation Service on Blogger!
BloggerBlog announced a Translation gadget that we can add to our blogs. I've added it to mine tonight.
I just need to watch using so many American idioms. Hello World. Bonjour.
I wonder if you have to have the updated blogger version because I don't see a gadget on your blog. I see a section that says Translate, but there's nothing underneath it. 0.o
Hi Muff. Maybe you do have to have the updated blogger version? I am asking, lol. At first, I just saw the "Translate" header with nothing under it, but then I tried again and it has a pulldown menu. Fun to see my text translated to French. And trying to see how accurate the translation is.
Hi DBG! Your comment went to my Spam folder - I don't know why. Glad I checked there - and reminder to all, check that Spam link for good comments.
Back to your comment, DBG, yes, I noticed you had a translator on your site - very cool, I thought. Wonder if there is a difference in the service? But I think not. I think that Google/Blogger just realized they could use a gadget in Blogger. Shrug.
Regarding not using American idioms - lol, they slip out anyway. I try to link to a phrase decoder site when I catch myself using them.
I just added this last week on my site, I love seeing my blog in African, Korean and many other cool native tongues! I get hits from all over the world so this should be easy for them to read now!
Thanks, D7ana. I already had Google 's mini translater on my blog. I have added the new translater, too, thsnks to your "heads up."
ReplyDeleteAmerican idioms ... stop using... "nay."
Debbie
Wow! Finally, this is Great!~ TY!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I'm thrilled, too. Guess we can make our blogs internationally accessible.

ReplyDeleteHi and thanks, Barbiecafe and Ebony Nicole! Although I wonder just how effective the translations are ... still, it's nice to have them available.
