Happy Father's Day to all the fathers, play scale or human scale.
If your play scale daddy needs cigarettes or a can opener, see One Sixth Scale King for visuals. (I have never shopped there - just saw a link to them today. That link was on Nouveau Toys' Links page.)
Fascinating link - I enjoyed checking out all their 1:6 doll patches (they even have a Dr. Who one, wow).
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain: in my country on Father's Day is celebrated on March 19. Very good advice of possible gifts ... Keep in touch.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a promoter of cigarette smoking in any scale, but those cigarettes sure are cool.
ReplyDeleteHi and thanks for the comments!
ReplyDelete@Carrickters, that Dr. Who patch is calling my name, lol.
@Mata, how interesting that Father's Day is in March in Spain. It makes me think of Mars, the Roman god of war, March, and masculinity. Actually, I can't think of any fathers I know who would appreciate the cigarettes or the can opener although the high cost of cigarettes today, probably qualifies them as gifts ;-D. The can opener struck me as cute for dads who do not cook, lol.
@Vanessa, usually, I wouldn't promote cigarettes, but there seemed to be a retro vibe going with the Camels and the Marlboros. A macho, old school vibe although my Dad never smoked when I knew him.
My favorite things on the site are the little wooden bowls. Perfect for little salads.
ReplyDeleteAn additional comment, mostly because I was interested to read Marta's comment about Father's Day being in March in Spain. In Australia we celebrate Father's Day on the first Sunday in September so we haven't celebrated Father's Day yet.
ReplyDeleteHi Muff and Carrickters! Thanks for reminding me of those little wooden bowls, Muff. They are cute, too. Carrickters, learning that holidays are celebrated on different days in different countries interests me, too. Reminds me that there are many other countries existing and how varied the world is.
