Computer Virus - Need to Use Secure Computer
Multiple viruses have attacked my home computer. I will return when I can use it safely.
Oh, no. I hope you are able to get it taken care of. You are really inspiring me to put some pep in my step in putting some dolls off the island. I really need to do the same. Your post may be just the motivation that I need.
Hi and thanks, Georgia Girl, Phyllis, Presto, Chasing Joy, Male Doll World, Vanessa, Smaller Places, and Ms. Leo!
The suggestion was that I have someone from Staples or Best Buy check out my computer. I would ride through it - it's been going slow and crashing a lot, but someone re-arranged by blog layout. Now that's getting too into my business! (They shifted my side column links to the bottom. Grrr ...!)
Actually, I'll have more time to do my organizing, lol. So if that were the intent, ha ha, they've failed. Sigh. I think it's pretty sad that there exist such petty, spiteful people as to tamper with a hobby blog. Losers. Sigh. Very frustrating to me, as you can imagine - and thanks for your sympathy.
I'd been using AVG Free. I'll note the systems you've mentioned for future use though.
Working from the library is difficult. Aside from limited photo access, I have to sit next to cold-germy people (right now - oh, the stench of cold germs) and use computers other people have used. Pouting. But I am grateful that the library offers this service. Really.

ReplyDeleteWhat Virus Protection Software do you use? I have Norton and I also scan using Malware Bytes. I hope you resolve it soon!
ReplyDeleteMalwareBytes is great. You might have to put it on a flash drive to install it on your computer, though.
ReplyDeleteOh no! That's awful! :-(
ReplyDeleteOh no. Hope you can fix it.
ReplyDeleteViruses are the worst. Hope you're able to fix it. Someone is trying to impede your progress on organizing and selling off your dolls. Stay strong!
ReplyDeleteGoodbye, second bag!
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of Malwarebytes and Bitdefender, but these may not be relevant to your specific problem. Hope it has a quick solution.
Hope you're able to fix it. Working frm the library is a difficult.
