February Topics: Black History, Valentine's Day, Presidents' Day, & Toy Fair

Am I the only one thinking that we should still be in January?

(Oh, I am sick and tired of the cold and the snow/ice. I don't want to lengthen this January. So why do I feel ... cheated? Because I'm still working on my "January" goal - complete list of DAFs for sale or trade. Sigh. Fudge.)

Speaking of fudge and other good chocolate things brings to mind February topics to be addressed this month:
  • Black History month
  • Valentine's Day
  • Presidents' Day
  • Toy Fair 2015
  • Organizing the collection

  3. It's not just you -- I accomplished a lot but it seems like there should have been time to do more.

Your list indirectly reminded me to check my calendar for Chinese New Year events, and the big festival got moved to a spot MUCH nearer to where I live! Yay.

  7. January certainly was in a hurry. Perhaps it felt a need to make way for all the seasonal stuff popping up in stores. I've been seeing everything from hearts to Easter eggs on shelves since before the new year. Your topic list looks exciting.

Snaps finger - oops, I forgot about Chinese New Year. I've got a post for that, too. This year. Thanks, Smaller Places, for that reminder!

  13. I can't believe it's Toy Fair time again! Usually I look forward to it to see what new Barbies will be sneaked but last couple years have been a bomb. Why even bother?

  14. Hi Pattisdolls! Yes, it's that time of the year. I like to imagine wonderful figures will be produced and that I will miraculously have the funds to get them AND the space to keep them. I savor the anticipation ;-)

The Fifth Harmony dolls look cute. Pity about the stiff bodies though.
