ReplyDeleteLooks like fun to me! Everything in its own little see through bin. Yup, that's a fun time to me.
ReplyDeleteLooks good! I'm terrible at guessing these things, but what size bins are those?
ReplyDeleteGood to see things coming along so well. It makes it easier to locate your things too. I don't set up much but I sure can find things.
ReplyDeleteHi The grandmommy, Georgia Girl, Muff, jSarie, and Brini!
ReplyDelete@The grandmommy - yes, it hit me, too, lol!
@Georgia Girl - yay! I'm rooting for you.
@Muff - yup, having good times here ;-)
@jSarie - well, the bins look good, lol. The last 3 are shoebox size - 11 3/4" long x 4 1/2" high x 6 1/4" deep. The first one is a squared 8 1/4" x 5" high.
@Brini - being able to find things was a top reason to organize. It's wretched not knowing where stuff is.
My comment should have been thanks so much for getting us started. You have definitely inspired me.
ReplyDeleteThis is great progress!
ReplyDeleteEventually the accessory sort will hit the top of the mountain and the rest will look easy. That moment gets weirdly addictive.
Nice progress on the organizing!
ReplyDeleteYou have a fantastic collection of doll instruments, and I love that tiny painting. It makes me want to get out my paints and canvas and start messing around again. Back in the day, my dolls had a portfolio full of mini paintings from "art class." :)
Hi Georgia Girl, Smaller Places, and Sarah Sequins! Thanks for commenting.
ReplyDelete@Georgia Girl - I appreciate your encouragement. I think Muff's post started the organizing trend. I'm happy to have contributed ;-)
@Smaller Places - I like sorting stuff. Got to work on selling stuff now.
@Sarah Sequins - thanks! I like the idea of creating mini paintings for the dolls. I'd like to see your work, too. Would be fun to see a post on that topic ;-)
I love those plastic bins too, D7ana. I'm sure you saw them in my pictures.
ReplyDeleteI did my own little project once with doll-sized art. Now I'm going to have to blog about it!!
Hi Barb the Evil Genius! Yes, I saw your plastic bins filled with dolly treats. I don't miss those posts ;-)
ReplyDeleteCool! I'll look forward to your doll art project, too. Lots of fun reading a-coming!
Dana, loving your progress. My collection has made me move from shoe boxes, to s-m-l bins. Now I have a bin and drawer system that I'm working the kinks out of lol.
ReplyDeleteHi Dollz4Moi! Glad to have you along for the ride ;-) Please share your tips after you've got your bin and drawer system refined. I LOVE reading doll organization tips and seeing the related photos ;-D
ReplyDeleteWell....It's all I can do just to keep up with my dolls' fashions and accessories. But for all of you who also collects the other Barbie lifestyle items.....my sincerest wishes for a very productive spring cleaning and organization session!!!
ReplyDeleteHi april_n_paris! Oh you HAD to mention them, lol. The cars, the structures ... eyes glazing over ....
ReplyDeleteThanks for the positive wishes!
It sounds like you are moving along with this project!
