  1. When you mentioned that International Chocolate Day was on the horizon I had no idea that there would be such a long list of tie-in Barbies! I was expecting maybe one or two Easter-basket-type dolls and not much else.

Good to know! And now I think I should go buy a chocolate bar to celebrate this new knowledge. ;)

  2. Mattel has produced a box of Godiva chocolates at least twice, though neither of them come with a doll. One was with a set of Christmas gift items. The second was in a Fashion Avenue outfit entitled Breakfast in Bed, and came with a nightgown. I have both of these in my collection.

  5. Hi jSarie, Barb the Evil Genius, Billa's Dolls and Fashions, and April_n_Paris!

@jSarie - There are probably even more Barbies. I have mislaid my J. Michael Augustyniak Barbie Exclusives book. His books were last updated around 2008. He wrote about the Barbie store exclusives.

@Barb the Evil Genius - Oh, yes! I have those yummy Godivas - gold boxed - somewhere. T.J. had them last, I think. I got mine in the Christmas gift set.

Congrats on having two boxes! Your dolls must be happy munchers ;-)

@Billa's Dolls and Fashions - Yes, the Hershey Barbie looks "toothsome." LOL - pun time!

@April_n_Paris - Aw, you are too sweet - ouch! (Silly me.) Years of exposure, reading books by people even MORE Barbie-centric than I, and having a "sticky" mind ...

Xena (sotto voce): "A mind is a terrible thing to waste ..."

  8. Hi The grandmommy and Vanessa!

@The grandmommy - You have to get some chocolate.

The Chocolate Obsessed Barbie is cute. I have a doll who resembles her, DotW Spain.

@Vanessa - you missed International Chocolate Day? Ssssh! I won't tell - just get some chocolate soon ;-)

Glad you enjoyed the post. And yes, I loves me chocolate, lol.
