L.A.Girl Fashionista and Others Seen at Walmart - Ms. Leo Alert
Another photo post that is short on text. L.A. Girl Fashionista with the Skipper-face.
2nd Skipper-faced Fashionista with light blue eyes, auburn hair, and a tan complexion.
For Ms. Leo - the AA Fashionista with the beauty mark.
LA girl has been popular and hard to find for a while. She is available again (after selling out) on the Mattel site for those who don't find her at their Walmart. She was a pass for me. The face is too young and the stiff body is useless. I like seeing what others do with her, though.
Initially, I was excited to see the new line and I'm still really impressed with diversity but the stiff body was a complete turn off. It's too much to rebody a play line with a playlist articulated body. :-/. I have reconsidered the LA Girl though, just because I think she'd be an interesting background character to have. The AA beauty make is pretty in photos but in person, at least in my opinion, her screening was very cartoonish. Well...actually, they all are a bit cartoonish but still very cute.
Hopefully, while I'm out next week...I can grab the LA Girl without having to pay for shipping. :)
I would like to see L.A. Barbie appear in my part of our country, nothing yet, but in the French speaking part she is available apparently. I should move ;-).

I hope that you are able to get the dolls you want without having to pay postage - you get to choose the particular doll you want then. I understand how you might pass on some of these ;-)

Cute faces and even the fashions aren't too bad. Pity the bodies are so stiff.

Cute heads if you want to rebody. I only buy cheap dolls with great faces to rebody now.
