Yes, the memo didn't go out - how could the toy manufacturers TELL parents something like that?! LOL WE know better though. Our guys just don't show all.
I only have a repro of the old Joe. I find it hard to keep him in a properly seated position. The elastic band that joins him makes him lay back or straighten up. Does that happen to original Joes?
Yes, that awkwardness seated happens with the older Joes, too. My original Joe will slip back if I don't angle him forward a little AND if I don't use his arms to balance him. Otherwise, he sprawls.
