Lollipop Girl Fashions on Other Dolls and Action Figures

Just a few years ago, I sometimes bought stuff that was on sale just because I thought I might someday find a use for it. Example? These Jan McLean's Lollipop Girls fashions. I doubted that I would ever buy any of the Lollipop dolls because of their big heads, inset eyes, and elongated bodies. But that didn't mean that the cool fashions and kicky boots and dramatic hats could not benefit some of my other dolls and action figures. And that hunch paid off.

The pants will fit Barbie Model Muse bodies best. The other dolls shown can wear the pants, but the legs are overlong so you would need to either cut the excess fabric and sew a new hem or fold the pants' legs up.

(Aside, Hasbro's Banee of the Starlight Girls - JEM - only appeared to fit the Lollipop outfit she borrowed yesterday. The top was a stretch, but the back of the jeans did not meet.)

The tops barely fit though. The hats can be a little too large.

Playscale Samsons: Long-haired Males

My guys - dolls and action figures alike - felt left out. So I offer this post as sop to them and as a photo theme contrast to my recent photos of female dolls and action figures. I gathered my long-haired guys and aimed the camera at them. For your viewing, the Samsons of East Philly:

Mixis Chinese Outfit

Yesterday, I received this lovely outfit, the Mixis Chinese Outfit, from Debbie Goodland of YNU Group. Emerald graciously agreed to model it.

Linh Found - Surprise Visit to the 1970s

I almost suspect that my dolls and action figures come alive when I leave them. How else can I explain finding missing Dragon Linh in a bag with Ideal Tuesday Taylor and her half-sister Taylor Jones (their relationship as I recall it from my childhood years)? While my action figures and dolls interact - I put them in scenes together - I don't recall placing these figures together.

Here they go, Ideal Corporation's Tuesday Taylor and Taylor Jones flanking Dragon Linh. Tuesday and Taylor both wear Ideal Tuesday Taylor fashions that are NOT their original bodysuits with miniskirts. Linh wears her original pants, top, hat, and sandals. No original scarf for Linh: I bought her and the clothes she has separate.
