Sharp and Susie, Part II
Here's a closer photo of Sonokong's Leather Mania Sharp and R&D's Ibiza Heat Susie. Sharp's larger eyes and paler face initially made me think that her head was larger than it actually is. I thank fellow collector, Niel for the tip that that was not the case. The dolls both have heads approximately 1 1/16 inches wide.

That's a very cute photo of Susie and Sharp. I like how the dolls look a bit the same and yet different. :)
Thanks, Niel. I like this photo, too. It was nice to get Susie and Sharp clear.
I think the similiarity is the width of their faces - more pronounced with the Ibiza Susie because she lacks bangs and her hair seems to spring around her face. (Her hair reminds me of the Sandro Botticelli Birth of Venus painting.) Of course, Susie's face is broader and her build is slighter than that of the Venus.
Differences? Sharp has an anime look while Susie looks more realistic.
Anime or manga is quite the right word for it, it reminds of Final Fantasy figures, they also have the eyes kind of like that.
Of the two, I prefer Susie. Does Sharp have eyebrows?
Hi Jon the action figure buff! I'm not familar with the Final Fantasy story, but I have Ryan Whittaker from that series. His eyes are more "regular-sized." I have lots of Jennys though with the huge eyes featured in anime films and manga books.
My favorite comic manga (?) was Mai, the Psychic Girl; my favorite anime tv show was "Battle of the Planets." I have the CY Girls Princess from that series. Sigh.
Kim, yes, Sharp has painted eyebrows under her bangs. P.S. Susie is my favorite, too, but sssshhhh! let's not let Sharp hear that ;-D
