Yet Another Red Mini Cooper Anyone? Canada 2002

First, I see a cool car on Vanessa's blog. Then I see Suwi's got some cars on her blog. Whoa and among them, Suwi's got a Sindy car similar to one of mine. I'm oooohhhing and aaahhhhing then I think: hey, this is a mini surge here. So here is my contribution to the red Mini Cooper surge.

Look who will be at the wheel ... she's R&D's Susie. San Francisco Days Susie from March 2004.

That's Susie's portfolio on the car hood. (Note my car does NOT have the Union Jack flag on top.) Don't worry, she will put it inside the car. She has a matching black pebbled hide over nighter that she wants to put in the car first.

Susie shifts to adjust her seat belt. Had she left something in the seat? One of the other Susies seems to have left a sewing kit on the seat. That's no fun.

Susie sinks back for a few minutes. Wait til she sees the others. Sewing kit on the driver's seat of her car. Hrmph!

I'll post additional photos of the Canadian mini Cooper soon.

Oooh wee. Nice ride she has there. Thanks for sharing it with us. I would have a whole lot full, if I could.

That car is too cool for school. I love all the detail paint. Want it!

Cool! That is a great little car. I thought I remembered seeing another Mini Cooper before the one I see now. Does someone put out a book of Barbie cars? If they don't, they need to along with a book of Barbie houses!

Hi and thanks, Brini, Vanessa, Hey,It's Muff, and Ms. Leo.

Brini, I hope you get your mini Cooper soon. You can "rent" it among your folks until you decide who "owns" it.

Vanessa, oddly enough, I don't want to give up my cars. I tell myself; they'r big and cumbersome. But I am pulling them back from selling. You are welcome - hey, you were one of the people who inspired this post ;-D

Hey, It's Muff - it is too cool for school ;-) Information about it: I ordered it from Canada in 2002. That seller removed the outer box to reduce the postal charges so I lack details about it. What is on the vehicle itself is the name Simba. It looks like the British Sindy version only the steering wheel is on the LEFT side as is the habit in the U.S.A. (and I suppose Canada) unlike the British version which has the steering wheel on the RIGHT side. And Sears was the store from which that collector/dealer got the mini Cooper.

Ms. Leo - thanks. Glad you enjoy seeing it. Yes, there are books about Barbie accessories like houses and vehicles. Please see Barbie Doll Structures & Furniture by Marl B. Davidson and Treasury of Barbie Doll Accessories: 1961-1995 by Rebecca Ann Rupp.
