What's That about Barbie's Sales?
Behold the Barbie aisle in the South Philadelphia Target. Hallo! Where are the Barbies?
One of my WalMarts looked like that earlier tonight, but pretty much all the dolls were gone. There were a few Barbies, some SiS little girls, Strawberry Shortcake and that's about it.
Hmmmm ... sounds like there was a winter storm message leaked. Whenever the newscasters announce there will be a storm, people stock up. Guess if you have to be shut in, you might as well have good food to sustain you, LOL.
Hi Ms. Leo! That Target has probably restocked their aisles now. That photo was from December 26, 2009. I was surprised to find the shelves so empty, but pleased to see that Barbie dolls are still selling.
That's the way I feel, too, Constance. Glad to see Barbies selling. Not that I have stock in Mattel, but I think that as Barbie does [well] so will other dolls. May our hobby continue!

I'm glad to see the dolls sold that well. Only those few outfits remained.
Wow! That's pretty amazing. Our entire grocery store looked like yesterday! :)

Barbie's got packed up in presents, I guess.
Yes, some lucky kids and collectors have new Barbies. Yay!
So I guess there won't be any purchase in store for a bit. It is on to online shopping! They are still stocked aren't they? :\

Wal-mart and Target here in south Florida were the same. The Barbie aisles were picked clean! Good for Barbie!
