Brotherly love in playscale: finding diversity in fashion dolls and action figures from the 1960s to now: Barbie, Fashion Royalty, Momoko, Susie, GI Joe, Power Team, Mixis.
If Chelsea has an Asian looking friend or if she herself came with a raven her, I'd love her more. :)I noticed that although it's hard to make her poseable considering her size, they did make her available in number of arm poses. Maybe one can just switch head if one wants to switch her pose. The idea kinda reminds me of Pinky street. And the Barbie pets kinda reminds me of Little Pet Shop. Looks like Barbie is going for an all out war for our money against all toys (not just dolls)! LOL.
I have the closed mouth Chelsea. I like most of the other ones, except for their bent arms. I like their size. My S.I.S. kids needed some friends!
Hi Niel! I have a cute Asian lassie who might fit in with Chelsea. Not the little baby girl who comes in the Happy Family Neighborhood - ugh, can't find a link to her online. Will shot her later.Hi Vanessa! I like the closed mouth doll, too. Wonder if Mattel will do Chelsea et al. as Black dolls?
You know, I was wondering the same thing when I was out today. I don't know that they will be in a hurry to do the AA version of Chelsea since they have the S.I.S. kids, but I would love to see AA versions of the new Stacie and Skipper. That would be awesome!
Oh, yes, especially an AA Teen Skipper! With curly hair, too. (Oh there I go, getting greedy.)
