Nickelodeon's Victorious by Spin Master

Looking for variety in your articulated fashion doll body? March over to the toy section where the Spin Master dolls are and check out their newest doll offering, Victorius. Victorius is a relatively new teen sitcom about a high school girl, Tori, who attends an arts high school. (Anyone else thinking, Fame?)

Here are two Atamaii doll reviews about the Tori doll.

Are they only articulated at the knees?

They look interesting. Good question Cat. Cat I kept thinking I was following your blog. Seems I wasn't. I am now.

Hi Cat! She is also articulated at her elbows and her shoulders.

This is a Spin Master doll? Their knee joints look cleaner. I wonder if they will adapt this to the Liv line..

Hi Vanessa! Yes, the slightly rounder body offers a new body size. And articulated, too? Yes!

Hi Niel! Yes, she's a Spin Master doll ;-) They do like variety, hmmm? I look forward to seeing if the new leg articulation gets used for the Liv dolls, too. My guess is that it won't because they have the Liv body is jointed already, why change it? (True, the newer knee joint appeals more to our aesthetics, but that would require Spin Master to create a new leg mold and that might cost more than they would be willing to pay for an established series. Shrug.

Does anyone recognize the necklace on the regular Victorius doll? It seems to be the same one sold with Daniela in her School's Out outfit.

I just saw these dolls in person at Walmart. They are not articulated at the elbows, only at the knees. Why? Why? Why?

Thanks for the correction, Vanessa.

Sorry Cat, I wrote too soon. I saw the bent arm and "assumed" her elbows were articulated, too.
