Correction: Bargain Barbie - $5.50; So in Style Dolls $10.00

Correction: the prices for these dolls actually is $5.50 for the Basic dolls who flank the So in Style dolls and $10.00 for the So in Style dolls. Double what I published. I apologize for misleading you. Please do not seek this series of the So in Style Grace and friends at your Family Dollar store at $5.00 each. I must have read the price for the Basic Barbie doll shown. And those Basic dolls are no longer $5.00 but are now $5.50.

I will say that "I have egg on my face."

Those SIS versions are only $7.99 in Walmart. Just in case someone wants them and doesn't want to go hunting.

$5... did you say $5? I thihk I've seen them at my FD.

Their un-articulated bodies caused me to dismiss them without even checking the price. I'll have to check the price the next time I am there. The heads are probably worth $5

Thanks!

I am so, utterly and unbelievably jealous!!! Why does everyone get all the good deals!?? :P

I am going to go nuts when I finally get back to the states and can take advantage of all the great sales and FYI posts you do Dana!

OMG! And once again, we don't even have SIS in Portugal, sigh...
Would it be possible to order one of those Trichelles from you? How much would the shipping cost be?

Hi Georgia Girl, Muff, Ada, Vanessa, BDE, Erica, Vanessa (Portugal), Pattidolls and Barbiecafe!

I apologize for sending anyone off on a false trail. I am going to get a second opinion, the next time I see a suspiciously good sale like that.

Vanessa (Portugal) if you send me an email at d7ana @ yahoo.com ; we can consider postage costs, etc.

Thanks, The Duke of Swann, for your compliment and for your visit. I like variety among my dolls, too.

Sorry to hear that the So in Style dolls have not reached South Africa. But with the Internet today, you can find doll buddies to help you find what you want ;-D

Hello from Spain: How lucky you have in America that the Barbies are always much cheaper than in Europe. I love the SIS and Spain did not sell.Thank you for teaching it. Keep in touch.

Thanks for posting the correction, although I had already made a trip to my FD after reading your post and discovered the correct price at least the price in my area (I thought). I had seen the dolls there for $10 previously and left them there then as I did on the 2nd trip. Not to worry... the 2nd trip was not specifically for the dolls. I was there for something else and decided to check the price.

Thanks for your comment, Marta! Guess we need to work on a way to either swap dolls, etc. so that those of us in the U.S. and those of us overseas can get the best of all sources.

You're welcome, DBG. Oh, I was obligated to post the correction. I'm glad I didn't cause you to make an unnecessary trip. ;-)
