Little Mix Dolls ... Will a Girl Band Take Your $$$?

Bring on the Girls ... as in girl band Little Mix, winners of the 8th X Factor.

The Little Mix quartet includes:
  • Perrie Edwards
  • Jesy Nelson
  • Jade Thirlwall
  • Leigh-Anne Pinnock

Vivid Imaginations are to launch the Little Mix fashion dolls this November. As I have mentioned before, I have scant interest in the various groups from which new fashion dolls are created. But I LOVE having new face molds. When the new dolls are boys, that is even better because ... well, we don't get many boy dolls. Ken, Steven, Ryan, and the other guys are few and far between compared to the many female dolls produced. Partly, that has been because female dolls have more clothes.

I wonder though, how many collectors will buy these dolls.  (Alas, I do not have any promotional photos of them.) They should have new doll faces. The quartet have fresh, young faces - not particularly glamorous or stunning. Do you think that the Little Mix dolls will generate as much collector interest as the 1 Direction dolls or the JLS dolls or The Wanted dolls?

Me? I confess, I am interested, but not as keenly interested as I was about the "boy dolls." That is my opinion at this time though ... when I see the actual dolls, my opinion might change.

Here is a recent interview with two of the singers for any Little Mix fans among you.

It will be interesting to see pictures when the dolls are released. I suspect that this will another US only release though unless the girls go international like One Direction.

Hi and thanks Carrickters! These dolls will be marketed to the UK; I don't think that they'll come to the US just yet. One Direction seems to be the only British group to reach the main US market.

Although some lucky, clever Americans have ordered them from overseas. (I haven't done that yet. Yet ;-D)

I've never heard of the group, but I would be interested in the what the redhead and biracial doll looked liked.

Hi and thanks, Muff! Me, too. I'd like to see what the redhead and the biracial dolls look like. Especially the hair on the latter.

I've seen Vivid's Sindy doll and their Disney characters, but not any female character dolls. So the Little Mix dolls will be interesting for that reason also.

I'm always interested to see new faces. This is my first time hearing about them. I hope they are more on the production scale of The Wanted dolls. Those were well done.

Hi Vanessa. Thanks for stopping by ;-D

Little Mix is a recently created UK group. New personalized doll faces stimulate interest; there is lots of wondering before the actual dolls appear. Will they look like the actual singers? What will be exaggerated? My kind of fun.

Ah so The Wanted dolls are well done. I look forward to seeing them and someday, getting at least two of them: Max and Jay.

I never heard of the group, but may consider purchasing a couple of them if they have a close resemblance.

Hi Georgia Girl! I'll look more to see if the faces interest me in playscale. I don't mind if the resemblance is off because I am more keen on having a new doll face than on having representation of the group. Thanks for stopping by and I guess we'll be looking at eBay and Flickr for these dolls in November ;-D!
