Space and More Space - the Eternal Quest
When I was a child, I wanted to have dolls and action figures overflowing. I wanted to have a doll and action figure museum that people would come from far and wide to see. So I bought and I bought. From childhood to adulthood, I bought. Behold some results of a lifetime of buying:

So while there are dolls and action figures I still want to get, there's something else I seek. Space. More space. The eternal quest for the doll and action figure enthusiast AFTER collecting.

Unless we are really, really rich, the quest for space could be futile unless we overcome the challenge of letting go.
Yes, letting go is hard. Hard but necessary. Sigh.
Then again, I get to fully appreciate some of the dolls or figures I consider "gems" for whatever reason I do. And those less favored by me can find new homes and become "gems" in someone else's collection.
You know, if you need more space, you can always give your extra dolls to me. I'll take good care of them. :p
Have you seen the Juku Couture Girls at Target recently? They are $9.99 there instead of their original price of $19.99, and one of them is a cute little brown-skinned girl. Well, they're all cute! They are surprisingly well-articulated, like lower-grade Obitsus, with single-jointed elbows and knees, but bend and swivel wrists and ankles.
I don't doubt that they would be in great hands ;-D
Yes, I've seen the first Juku Couture Girl dolls. I'm not sure if I have seen the newer ones though. I might get some of hte painted eyes ones because I like the articulated bodies and could see them in with my others.
Thanks for the tip about their price at Target - $10 is more acceptable for that size doll. Oh and for the body comments. I'll look for them at local Targets.

Regarding dolls or action figures with closed boxes, I often remove the figure and then return the figure to the box to keep them "dust-free." But the clear plastic tubed, clear plastic paked, and cardboard/plastic packaged dolls are NRFB.
Need to do a Project Freedom - removing them from the container and keeping what I want and then selling/donating what I don't want.
I "religiously" follow the principle, "There's always room for just one more doll," which is the reason I completely understand your lack-of-space dilemma.
I'm thinking that while there are a few that I need to sell or to donate, the real problem is the BOXES. Yes, evil, bad BOXES coming between me and the figures. If I just unload more boxes, there will be more space for figures.
How could I have missed the obvious?! LOL
