Brotherly love in playscale: finding diversity in fashion dolls and action figures from the 1960s to now: Barbie, Fashion Royalty, Momoko, Susie, GI Joe, Power Team, Mixis.
As of today,I haven't even seen the Denim Basics yet at the Target by me Or at the Toys R Us or Walmart. Wonder how long it will take these two to get to me. Will probably check out Toys R Us tomorrow. Wish me luck!
I have both of them. I still have 3 that I haven't deboxed. I am so glad I am finished shopping for these!
goodluck Dana. :)
I have been dreading seeing that Basics girl show up in our area... lol... ever since someone showed her to me and said "Hey, this would make a nice version of your Gillian" I've been going nuts both looking for her and also hoping NOT to find her lol... because I won't just get one...lol
Wishing Frannie luck in getting the Barbie Basics she wants ANDCongratulating Vanessa on successfully finding the BB that interested her ANDThanks for the positive wish, Niel ANDSilent G, I think Gillian looks worried that you protest too much, lol. Hmmm seeing her in the vinyl might decide you ;-DThen again, Silent G, the new denim BB could be a relative of Gillians. (Oh the enabler spin never ends ;-})
LOL... Yes D7ana, seeing her in the vinyl is exactly what I am worried about lol...And again, yes, thanks for enabling my obsession with Gillian lol
LOL, yes, Silent G, you ought to encourage my evil enabling ways ;-DYou are welcome though.
I have all the Denim Basics, and I've always thought the Basics in general resembled celebrities-not always a literal resemblance, but something about them reminds me of certain celebs. These two are magician Criss Angel and Russian model Irina Shayk.
Hi Amystika18n! Congratulations on having all the Denim Basics. I only have one. I especially "see" the resemblance to the Russian model. The resemblance to Criss Angel is there also, but overcast by my connecting that face sculpt to actor Robert Pattinson. Twilight ... oh my.
