Who Was I?

I now have a Spin Master Liv (Hayden) body, but my head came from another manufacturer. Can you guess whom and who I was in that manufacturer's world?

I am not very sure about this, but I would guess it is the Princess of Japan Barbie with her hair down. The reason I am not very sure is that the hair doesn't seem to be the right color, but that is my guess.

Is that the Princess of Japan? The skin tone match fairly well in this pic. :)

Hi, Kim and Niel! Yes, you both have her identity solved. She has the head of Mattel's Princess of Japan.

The Princess' hair is a dark brown, not black as might be expected. Very pretty and wavy. Her face is just the tiniest bit paler than her new body: I shrug that difference off by telling myself that she's using a strong, pale foundation ;-D

I bought the Hayden body cheap at Ross Dress for Less store. Sweet price of $7.99 that came to $8.63. The 3 stores I visited had School's Out Hayden, Sophia, and (1) Katie. No Alexis or Daniela. Sigh.

She is the loveliest doll. I thought her hair was black, though. Is her hair rooted all over? I am reluctant to take down Barbie updos, because you never know what you'll find....

Looking at POJ's hair next to the black hair of Spanish Kelly (Friends of the World - Europe), you can see that her hair is a reddish black as distinct from say a bluish-black or even a dark brown-black. She's got an okay root job. There could have been more hair, but she does have adequate coverage. And her head has been painted black under the hair so she can wear her hair down with no obvious gaps :-)

Princess of Japan was on a Skipper body. Is she the same size or taller?

Hi Ms. Leo! Princess of Japan is only the tiniest bit taller on the Liv body than she was on the Skipper body. I'll show you a comparison photo in a new post.
