I glanced at a few pages on eBay. I had to see this beauty, the Brunette Stardoll in an actual photo. Can't wait to see an actual doll to the Black doll in the purple dress. Sigh.
From Facebook member Sandra B, frequent contributor to doll news, especially at The Doll Cafe. Two Barbie I Can Be doll sets that include KEN as part of the series. What? I While I want to ignore these sets because they have Barbie with Smarmy Ken, I am torn about them. So far, I have avoided buying Smarmy Ken. But these sets are too cute. Firefighter Ken and Police Barbie. Doctors Ken and Barbie in ONE set. Yes, for Ken's 50th birthday, Barbie is allowing him to work alongside her as either a firefighter OR as a doctor. Hmmm ... what do you think about that?

Thanks for all the links. It was interesting to see what's coming. Although I won't be buying the Ken and Barbie sets, I think it is great that they did that. I think the little girls will love having the two dolls. The SIS Marisa doll is interesting. I would buy here. Those discussions got a little heated on that site. That's always fun.

The Stardolls are my biggest want of the dolls shown to date. That swim Barbie with joints did resemble the Get Real Girls in the joints and because she looked a little bit better fed than most jointed Barbies.

Vanessa, I am still pondering those Barbie-Ken career sets. On one hand, I like the novelty of them. But then again, I am grown-up (sometimes) so I remember limited space, limited funds, now do I really, really want/need that set or is it something I would want, should my world lack limits?
SiS Marisa reminds me of the AKA Centennial Barbie - minus the garish glitter on the eyelids.
Heated conversation? Oh, I missed that. Will need to go back. I seldom get into heated online conversations - way too tiresome for a lazy one like me, lol. But they can be interesting to follow ;-D
