Ten Disney Dolls for Less Than $100

MissSpottyJane has a blog post with interesting news about the 12" basic. I am not going to repeat it here, but I'll leave a two word teaser, "new bodies" to pique your curiosity.

Anyway, MSJ had me thinking about the 11-12" Disney dolls so I thought, let's see what the Disney Store is offering this time. Well, I saw that they were offering a Classic 10-doll box of Disney Princesses for $99.50 USD, so I had to note that here on PhillyCollector. And the companion guys are on sale for $8.00 each. So if you have been seeking Disney Princesses or their companions, now might be a good time to buy them.

Happy hunting! Thanks, MissSpottyJane, for the tip!

Thanks for the info. I was excited to see the articulated bodies, but when you look at the comparison link, it looks like those bodies have been articulated since 2010. How did we miss that?

You're welcome, Vanessa! I don't know how we missed these bodies. They are on my radar now though ;-)

I'm glad to get more people hooked. The 10-pack will still have rubber legs, but they do have articulated arms. The 10-pack Snow White and Sleeping Beauty also have slightly better quality dresses than the individual dolls. I don't really care for Disneyana, but I love their 12" dolls.

It's been 15 years since I've been in a Disney Store and I don't even know if they still have them in my area. The Disney dolls at Target and Walmart are never articulated so I didn't know they made any. I would want a Tiana articulated body so I can get a darker skin tone

Thanks for the update Dana, good to know :-)

Thanks MissSpottyJane, Muff, and Barbiecafe!

Rubbery legs? Okay, pass on that 10 doll set for me. I was thinking of body harvesting since usually the Disney heads are too big IMO.

Muff, I haven't seen articulated Disney dolls in my Target or Walmart stores either. Maybe it's just the ones online or at the Disney Stores?

You're welcome, Barbiecafe. Please note the exceptions MSJ pointed out regarding the articulation of the Disney dolls. Thanks for stopping by, too.

Heads are too cartoony for my taste and the rubber legs won't work either. Always enjoy seeing what's new, though, so many thanks to you and MissSpotty Jane.

You are welcome, Marta. My pleasure to share. Do you get the multiple doll sets in Spain?
