Kenya's New [Hair] Do

Remember I bought a Beverly Hills Kenya doll by Kenya World? Well, here's Kenya now with her new hair style. Yes, she decided on a cut.

Kenya: You might wonder why I chose to have my hair cut.  Now when so many women are donning extensions. I don't want people to wonder about my hair - is it hers by birth or hers by credit card? Cut this length, you can notice my face. My head and neck are warm in the winter. I feel more professional. I LOVE my new 'do.

What do you think?

I agree. This hair cut suits Kenya's face and style.

Wowza! The new cut really suits her, and she looks more like a real person.

The cut looks great on her!

I loved the part about "is it hers by birth or hers by credit card". Lol!!

She looks good! Very classic - and more mature somehow.

Hi Phyllis, Roxanne, Carrickters, Smaller Places, Georgia Girl, jSarie, Night Owl, and Billa's Dolls and Fashions!

Kenya thanks you for the positive feedback. She loves the change, but she wanted confirmation about it.

Nice cut! I like it better from the front than back.

Looks great! Sometimes a dolls hair is like a weave job before it is finish! You need the final cut and style to make everything work.

I love the new do! It's perfect for her. :-)

Hi DBG, Ms. Leo, and Cindi Mortensen!

Kenya and I think the new 'do fits her personality better than the long hair.

Fab new haircut! It's both practical and pretty. I wear my hair about this length, but my relatives still ask did I grow it or sew it.

Hi Jewell! Kenya and I thank you for your comment. She sympathizes with your situation. Me, I shrug off others' comments about my hair - as long as it's brushed, I figure "whatever." Talk about nerve. Grumble, grumble. LOL.

The Kenya dolls came with so much hair it probably made their heads hurt. Your doll looks much better with her new do!

Hi Limbe Dolls! I wince to think about all the hair inserted in the Kenya heads. Ouch! Kenya and I thank you for your comment. She's beaming from the positive reviews ;-)

I think Blogger ate my comment... As I was trying to say, I liked Kenya's big rock star hair but it did overshadow her face a bit. She looks nice like this!

Merry Christmas!

Hi Anderson's All-Purpose! Merry Christmas to you, too! (Well, I hope it was, lol, given the time it is now.)

Blogger does get greedy at times - eating our comments. Thanks for persisting. Kenya and I agree that her Big Rock Star version was overshadowed by that big hair style. Too much!

The Kenya dolls do have A LOT of hair. I only have the one that has the fro but I promptly cut her head off to use the body. I'm keeping the head though in case I can use the hair later.

I like the shorter style on her!

Hi Muff! My Kenya almost became a body donor, but she "grew on" me especially after her haircut. So she and I both like the shorter style.

You'll probably be able to re-root two dolls from the hair in ONE Kenya head, lol.

Love the new do. I am a sucker for short hair. It does look a little more professional.

Hi Vanessa! I remember Melanie ;-)

Super professional look.
