St. Regis Lace Lingerie and Liv Sandals from Limbe Dolls

Tuesday morning, I found a thick envelope in my mail. Guess who the envelope was from? Yes, from LimbeDolls! My late birthday present! I carefully opened it to uncover new LimbeDolls sandals for Liv doll bodies AND three lovely sets of St. Regis Lace lingerie. Well, as you can imagine, lovely fashions like these do not appear daily nor do they go unclaimed. Here's what happened next:

Toshiko: OMG! St. Regis Lace undies from LimbeDolls! Dibs on that black set. Dibs, I say!

Joss: Why are you calling dibs on them? You aren't getting married. You can't wear them.

Tosh: Not only can I wear them, I'm gonna model them. For today's blog post.

Joss: Even worse. First, that's lingerie for brides - not for single students who don't even have a beau. Second, you are not seriously going to flaunt your scrawniness online. You'll never get a guy if you show what you ain't got.

Tosh: First, as resident Goth, I should be the superstitious one. Not. Wearing them regardless. Second, this is America. You can never be too thin.

Joss: Oh, sure ... anorexia is totally in. Never too thin.

Tosh: I am not that thin.

Joss: Are too.

Tosh: Am NOT. And if you are too insecure, you don't have to do it. Leave it to us professional models.

Joss: I am TOO professional.

Tosh: Doubting Thomasina ...

Joss: It is my professionalism that stops me from making a career busting mistake like this one.

Tosh: Green does not become you, Joss.

Joss: Green does TOO become me. There isn't a color under the sun that - oh, sometimes, you are too dense to be true.

Naomi: Toshiko, Photographer Ken wants you in the center.

Joss: ... because you'd disappear in profile ...

Tosh: Coming, guys.

Joss: Really, Tosh ... you aren't going against those boob jobs. Look at those massive mammaries ...

Naomi: Jocelyn, who you calling a boob job? These girls are for real.

Tosh: Joss was kidding ... she didn't mean anything. Let's do this shoot.

Naomi: Whatever. Ken, I got Toshiko with me.

Joss: World remember: I told her so.

So, world, what do you think? Is Toshiko too thin to wear the St. Regis lingerie? Will she bring bad luck to her relationship with her as-yet-unknown groom? Is she destined to remain unwed because no man would marry a young woman who modeled lace lingerie? What do you think?

Thanks, Paulette!

ROFL. They all look great! Tosh doesn't seem too thin to me. She looks just great!

Paulette is such a sweetheart! The girls look lovely in their St. Regis lace.

No, Toshiko is not too thin to wear St. Regis lingerie and her unwed status should not prevent her from wearing it either.

Now exposing herself on the Internet wearing it might pose future problems for her...

Oh yes... happy belated birtday! When was it, exactly?

Hi Verona and DBG!

Verona, Tosh sends you her thanks. Naomi and Lara do too ;-D

DBG, Joss sends her thanks, lol. Tosh is considering the Internet angle.

July 6 was my birthday. I didn't celebrate it for some time after my Dad died on his birthday. (His birthday was not far from mine, date wise.) Decided to reclaim my birthday this year ;-)

Oh, yes, and Paulette is a sweetie. She shares the nicest things - lingerie, footwear, tips and tutorials. Hear that rumpus in the background? Those are cheers and claps and stomps for Paulette. Thanks, P!

Happy belated birthday, understandable that you refused to celebrate it for years. So does this mean you did not age during the years of non-celebration? When I turned 53, I told people I was 35. At 54, I was 45. After that, I stopped transposing the years.

Don't you just love people who remember birthdays and send gifts? I always admire people like that because I am birthday challenged. (Can only remember immediate family. So sad.) I will again say, Happy belated birthday! Your ladies are looking lovely in their lace. Say that 3 times fast. It really is too bad the Star bodies don't move. They are really nicely done. Paulette is the best.

Enjoyed the funny dialogue as your models argued over who would wear the bra and panty sets. I recently acquired a "Toshiko." I think her complexion and dramatically streaked hair complement the black lace set very well.

Very best birthday wishes for the whole year!

hugs to ya.

I think Tosh has a point. You can never be too thin in America. I may not agree, but, I’m just saying…

It’s probably true, also, that there’s no such thing as overexposure.

So…. go girls! You all look great!

Hello from Spain: lingerie looks very nice. The laces are very elegant. Keep in touch.

Thanks DBG, Vanessa, Paulette, Chynadoll, and Robin for commenting! Thanks for the birthday wishes, too.

@DBG - oh the years added up - I just didn't celebrate them. So they were there but NOT there, if you get my drift ;-D

@Vanessa - I get tongue-tied speaking straight sentences so I'll mentally type the l sentence, lol.

@Paulette - see how excited the WHOLE household got about your gifts? And I won't say what the guys were saying.

@Chynadoll - I hope my Dad is. More likely he's rolling his eyes in exasperation, lol.

@Robin - I'm not too keen on the "never too thin in America" sentiment, but it's so prevalent, someone had to say it. It fit Tosh's argument for modeling the lingerie so she's the one to use it.

Happy belated birthday. Your girls all look good in the lingerie and I'm glad to see you are celebrating different body types in your photo shoots.

D7ana said...

Thanks Marta and Carrickers! I appreciate the belated birthday wish.

The girls do all look good in the lingerie. The three body types shown are Olmec Naomi, Mattel Stardoll, and Mattel Generation Girl. Some of the fuller bottomed ladies could not fit the undies so they bowed out of modeling them. (The Jakks Pacific G.I.R.L. Force, YNU Group Mixis, and Get Set or G5 dolls.)

Many happy belated returns! And LOL, I'm sure that many a man has married an underwear model so they have nothing to worry about.

Thanks, Muff, for the belated return wish! And yes, come to think of it, some guys probably consider Victoria's Secret as a modern day bride registry, lol. I think Joss was indulging in a little wishful thinking ;-D
