New Outfits for Ken - Poor Ken!
Please look at this small selection of new Ken fashions. If you were Ken, what would you do? My guys are weeping. Openly.

Have you seen these? Generation Girl Outfits Query
The fashions in this post are shown in the third Generation Girl (My Room) booklet. I have seen the outfits shown in the second booklet (Dance Party), but I either missed these fashions or they were never produced. If anyone has seen them, please forward a comment about them and any links showing them NRFB or on a doll.
The only one I would wear would be Lara’s; Nichelle’s hat reminds me of a Fifth Dimension song, “Up, up and Away.” High drama. How about you?

Fashion Insider Ken Borrows Action Figure Clothes
Fashion Insider Ken, one of the Silkstone Ken dolls, borrowed a few action figure clothes. As you will see in these photos, FI Ken adds elegance to standard black cargo pants, Power Team jeans, pinstriped shirts, and an abstract print jacket. The black-white sneakers shown are from the Get Set Club (G-Five) dolls, and they fit him nicely.
So Silkstone Ken fans who want to expand their Kens' clothing options should look in the green aisle aka the male action figure fashion websites. In addition to military clothes, there are also casual fashions and sometimes a few dressier pieces. Please see previous posts on Ken in action figure garb here.
One final note: unless your Ken is channeling Santa in off hours or has gained weight, avoid Soldiers of the World jeans. Those pants have a wider waist than most other male dolls or action figures need. Off the Soldiers of the World figures, those jeans look like granny-and-grandpa jeans where both grands can fit in the pants at once.

Walmart Visit: MGA Entertainment, Part One
What new did I see during my Walmart visit? Two new Barbies AND the MGA Entertainment outfits for the BFC Ink dolls! Photos below:
Here, I placed a Mattel Stacie and Kelly doll set next to a small MGA Entertainment BFC Ink Addison doll. Stacie is shorter and thinner than Addison. I guess that among the junior set, Skipper would be the oldest, Addison would be next oldest, Stacie next, and then Kelly, the toddlers (Midge's girl and her friends), and the babies. Interesting to know for clothes borrowing.

Feeling Nostalgic - Carrying Case and Francie Clothes
Never thought I would think this, but I miss the suitcase style carrying cases.
As I look at my newly deboxed dolls and action figures, I think how much easier handling them would be if I could tote related characters in a carrying case like the one I have one of my Francies and my one Casey in. Then I got to looking at those bright 1960-70's fashions and ta. Camera time.
