Two Graduate Photos - Mattel Crew, Of Course!

My nephew graduated last week. Just occurred to me that I need to post a graduate post. I have photos of the High School Musical graduate-gowned Chad and Ryan so I won't repeat those here. I'm showing HSM Zeke and Mattel's SuperTeen Scott as graduates for my out-of-box photo.

For my NRFB photo, I am including a photo of the 2004 My Graduation aka Mi Graduacion Barbie I got from K B Toys a few years ago. She has one of the prettiest faces for a playline doll.

Here's my mini photo tribute to the 2009 Graduates!

Yes, she does have a beautiful face. That's a goddess/angel face mold, right?

I had to look this one up. She has the Kayla/Lea face mold according to J. Michael Augustyniak in The Collector's Encyclopedia of Barbie Doll Exclusives 1972-2004, 3rd edition. At this website, Katti's face molds, you can see photos of both face molds. Frankly, I find it hard to differentiate between the two. Maybe if I spent time looking between the dolls, I could get it.

Oh I see. I also find it hard to distinguish the two. But I see there's a slight difference in their upper lip. The goddess' is fuller. I'm able to notice this when they are placed side by side. But when I see just one face... well good luck to me. ^_^

Yes, I think that the Goddess's face mold looks a little wider.
