D7ana, I wish I had a WAV file of a bunch of people doing a standing ovation. Perfect commentary!
I find this hilarious. I used to be one of those out all night to pick up a couple of things. Now I want to sleep in and if I pay more for some things I won't be broken LOL
Hi Miladyblue and Dollz4Moi!I have always been too lazy to get up for the Black Friday sales. And now I am reducing my collection, the thought of a buying frenzy gives me a sinking feeling.
Soo true, soo true! Give people gift cards and let them make themselves crazy shopping!
Hi Ms. Leo! I enjoy choosing presents for family members and sometimes for friends, but the Black Friday frenzy, I have always avoided. But gift cards are nice presents, too.(Just in case I am on any lists - no, kidding! Just joking. Reading and comments are gifts enough for me ;-D
That is too funny! And so true. I've done Black Friday a couple of times, but not to buy anything. I just wanted to be part of the experience. It's much better when you know you don't have to stand in any lines. I almost went this time because I was up at 3. Chose to stay in.
I only started doing Black Fridays about 3 years ago. I actually found it exciting and fun. I didn't do it this year though. I was too tired, lol.
Hi Vanessa and Muff! I loved the cartoon and its caption. Never done a Black Friday event myself - I don't have a car to get to any of those places and SEPTA at night and early AM is sketchy in some areas - but it would be fun to try once. Once ;-D, I think.
