Who's That Guy? Mystery Man Doll Seen in a Frankford Avenue Window

I was walking down Frankford Avenue when I saw this playscale doll family in a store window. I was in a rush so I did not stop in to check the box. I do not recognize the manufacturer. Does anyone recognize this doll series? The male doll has a different face mold that looks like a cross of the old straight leg Ken dolls and the modern Prince Antonio doll. With very wonky eye screening. As if the person who painted the male face fell asleep for a second then woke up before the doll's head rolled completely past ...

He is rather unique. I like him. I have no idea who they are. This is my first time seeing them.

The box art looks like a set I got at Roses last fall. It came with 1 very cheap plastic doll and 10 dresses. The dresses were so bad I put them all on dolls I gave to the Goodwill. I liked the doll's face, however, so I re-bodied her.

I have seen this guy in eBay stores that sell in bulk direct from China. I would like to get my hands on him but I'm sure he would need a body upgrade.

This made me laugh for a good minute and have I Love Lucy visions.

Hi and thanks, Vanessa, Limbe Dolls, Lonely Heart, and Muff.

@Vanessa and Lonely Heart - I'll go back to that store and see what the brand is.

@Limbe Dolls - The box art does seem familiar; and the doll plastic quality seems really, really cheap. I'll check out the price, as well as the manufacturer ;-D

@Muff - always glad to provide a laugh. And I think an I Love Lucy episode flashed in my head as to why/how the guy doll came to have such "off" eyes.
