East Philadelphians Contemplate the Snow

Jakks Pacific G.I.R.L. Force Creanna and a M & C Power Team action figure and Mattel Legolas Ken contemplate the 2009 snow storm. Creanna's outfit is all original to her; the Power Team gentleman has borrowed Jakks Pacific Van Helsing's maroon "leather coat." Oh and Legolas Ken borrowed the long black "leather" coat that once belonged to Angel and an action figure accessory knit cap. He strikes a very fine pose.

On a day like that you can't do anything but blog!

Great way to enjoy the storm! Doll collectors are the greatest!

Legolas looks cools. Some of my girls are dressed up for the cold, too but it's not snowing here (and I'm glad). :)

Thanks, Ms. Leo and AilanthusAltissima! I just wish that I had used a lamp for better lighting. But the darker, obscured photo worked for the mood. (Ugh, stuck in the house. Waaa! LOL)

Niel, thanks for the compliment to Legolas. I thought he looked cool - and hot LOL - with the long black leather coat and the black pull-on cap. And I am glad that you are spared the snow hassle :-D

I like the lighting. The dolls are in the foreground and the image frame is filled with white snow. It gives the scene a film noir appearance.

Thanks for the photo comment, AilanthusAltissima!

I was concerned that the dolls were too dark, and the background was too white, undistinguished. My ceiling light had gone out so I used the natural light from the window.

But "film noir" ... cool, I'll take that credit LOL. Very nice to read especially from a talented photographer like you :-D
