Survey for More Articulated Barbie Bodies

How often have we collector-enthusiasts longed for Mattel to create more articulated dolls, in different heights and different complexions? A long, long, long time. Well, one of us has taken some action towards this problem. Meet Leslie.

Doll photographer, diorama creator, and writer Leslie whose Flickr account shows some of her doll characters and story lines has created a survey to address this problem. Please stop by and complete it.

Thanks, Leslie, for your efforts. Here is to more articulated Barbie bodies!

Thank you so much! I am hopeful that once I gather the survey responses that show how many of us really want these articulated bodies-only to rebody our un-articulated dolls, I can convince Mattel to produce them! Fingers crossed!

Thanks, Vanessa, Roxanne, Dani, and Marta for your votes and/or positive wishes. Thanks, Leslie, for creating the survey and for cataloging the survey results. Please share the results of the survey on your blog when you are done. I - and a lot of others - will be looking forward to hearing what comes from targeted effort.

That reminds me, I have got to contact Hasbro about the JLS dolls ....

Hi Robin! Me, too. Yay, Leslie!

I took the survey and requested articulated bodies in various shades of brown because dolls should represent all people.

Hi DBG and thanks for taking the survey. Leslie's idea is timely, hmmm? I'm going to spread the news around - hope everyone within reading range will do so, too ;-D
