A PhillyCollector Sells Her Collection

“Enough is enough,” a PhillyCollector stated. “I cannot live with the chaos. It is time to sell my collection.”

“Yes, I thought it was the achievement of my lifetime. Yes, it represents great times and greater contacts. Yes, this particular mix of dolls and action figures will never be repeated. Never. Ever. But I need to move on."

When will the collection go on sale? The twelfth of Never ... and as Johnny Mathis sang, "And that's a long long time."

Okay, who really thought that I was selling my collection? This is my awful, terrible April Fools' Day joke. Anyone experiencing any doll, action figure, or other related jokes?

Well, I thought maybe you were selling some of your dolls when I read the title. When I read the first paragraph I wondered - and then I read the rest and laughed. Enjoy your April Fool's Day.

I was all, "What?! NO!" I fell for it. I should have known.

I fell for it. I was feeling sad. Then I got to the end and smiled.

Hehehe, you could have said you'd be listing them in August on The Doll Page >_<

Well, I have to admit you DID make me look. :D

Hi Carrickters, Cindi, Muff, Roxanne, Heather, and Anderson's All-Purpose!

Thanks for your good humor. I was a little iffy on whether I should send that post or not. Glad no one was offended ;-)

I hadn't thought to mention that I would be selling them in August on The Doll Page, Heather, although that would have been a good one, too. Sigh. So very sad that that site is going down. Darn, darn, darn shame.

I had a quiet Easter. No outings or family drama, but I appreciate quiet as well as boisterous, giddy times. Hope you all had a pleasant Passover/Easter/Spring if you celebrated any of those holidays or this season.

Phew! What a relief! You really pulled my leg! I was so sad! Your incredible mix of pretty dolls and fierce action figures makes a big difference on this dolly world. Keep on collecting! And keep on bloggin´girl!

A friend of mine told me there are talks to have someone else take it over? I wonder if this is true?... I can't imagine where people will go.

Great news about The Doll Page at Roville! Yay!

Lol! I was like "oh no"! I'm glad that was a joke.

Hi and thanks for stopping by, Georgia Girl!

Oh, yes, lol. That was definitely a joke. I mean, see how they have me situated in my recent post.

Sigh.

Okay, I sigh with a smile.

Cut to Mick Jaggers' "And it just might be a lunatic you're looking for ...."
