Have You Seen the New Sister Act?
Walmart has a new exclusive Barbie giftset with the four sisters: Barbie, Skipper, Stacey, and Chelsea. The dolls look like previously sold dolls.
@Vanessa ... no, I would not buy these dolls because of the tent.
@Robin ... alas, no. Mattel doesn't seem to recognize that kiddies need to romp and to play. The Big M just wants them to sit or to stand and look cute ;-P
@Marta ... I like some of the Staceys and some of the Skippers in this playline series. Congratulations on finding the dolls you wanted.
@Muff ... yay! Glad you see them now. Mattel has produced some Black female teens (Skippers and Nikkis) and Black children (Chelseas in sets with Barbies)too.
Thanks for the information on the set. I wish they would make an African American Set. Mattel had some sister sets a couple of years ago, but no African American set.
You're welcome, MaleDollWorld! An African American set like the AA Holiday Sisters set would be nice. I'm thinking about "converting" one of the new Skippers to become a "Black" Skipper.
I might get a second - I have been telling myself that I only need one ....
I have this tent from another set (with only one sister, if I remember correctly. The tent is cute, but does not hold up well to play. My kids got irritated with it quickly because it kept falling apart:/

I have seen them. I like the tent, but won't invest in this set just for the tent.
Cute. But still no articulation on the kiddies. Doesn't Matell realize by now that children need to run and romp. Did you buy it? Tempted to buy it?
Hello from Spain: I have a Barbie and her sisters camping. It's a very nice furniture. Keep in touch
I have not seen these! You have been collecting for a while. Is there such a thing as a black Skipper, Stacey or Chelsea?
I know that the SIS girls had the little kids as sisters but is there a black Mattel teen that isn't from Monster High or a fairy?

Oh and no, I didn't buy this set, Robin ;-D
I want a different Skipper (the Walmart Disney one) and a different
Oh and a link for Muff with some Skipper facts.
Thanks for that info and the link!
I've seen this. I stopped for a moment to look, and then kept walking.
Thanks for the information on the set. I wish they would make an African American Set. Mattel had some sister sets a couple of years ago, but no African American set.
You're welcome, Muff. Glad to help.
I understand, Roxanne ;-D

Thanks for that news, Miss_Lola_77! Then tent doesn't hold up well ... hmmm. Sigh. Not surprising, unfortunately.
If you're looking for a tent, there were others in the 20th century. My favorite has been the tan one for Pocahantas in 1995, and it's pretty sturdy.
Thanks for that suggestion, Skippercollector! A tent isn't on my top list, but it would be nice to have ;-P
Oh wait, I have one from an I-Doll set. Sahara has a playscale tent. I'll post that someday ;-D
