Enterbay's Django Figures

Here is an update on DBG's Black Doll Collecting Django scoop from last month.

Are you a Jaime Fox or Leonardo DiCaprio fan? If you are, you might want to grab these Enterbay sixth scale figures. If the promotional photos are accurate, these new figures will have excellent likenesses. Yes, the figures are based on the actors' Django Unchained roles, but avid fans might be willing to ignore the story source for the excellent likenesses. Hold your breath for the cost - $199.99 each before postage - but these figures are like art so you can consider them investments as well as fun figures.

Any buyers? I won't be because I am not that fond of either of the actors. They're good actors, but they don't rate that expense for me at this time.

Thanks for the information. I just saw the movie last weekend and loved it. After seeing the movie, I would love to have the Jamie and the Sam Jackson figures. I know Sam's not listed, but I would want him. I will have to wait for one I can afford.

$199.99! Heck no! I like just about every figure they have at the Enterbay website but I wouldn't pay that much for any of them either. Well, I would like that Bruce Lee though!

Hi Vanessa and Muff!

@Vanessa - you are welcome. Good luck getting the Jaime figure. He is spot on, likeness-wise.

I don't know if Enterbay plans to create a Sam Jackson figure - that might depend on how sales go with the first two figures ....

I have not shopped at this online site, but I saw Diver4.com has two unpainted 1:6 scale S. Jackson heads, one of which has him with the afro hairstyle he wore in Tarantion's Pulp Fiction and the other, his more recent bald look. Can anyone recommend that company and/or those heads? Thanks in advance ;-D

Hot Toys has an excellent Sam Jackson figure - not just the Nick Fury one with the non-removable eye patch. I would remove the eyeliner if I were to get that one - as the Octopus character in the movie The Spirit. Incredible likeness to the actor.

@Muff - lol. I love the Enterbay figures, too, but yes, that price is ... steep. Blows out air. Whew.

I'm not just looking for any Samuel Jackson figure. I would want the one from the Django movie. I have seen a few others and they are done wonderfully.

@Vanessa - Oh ... cool. The figures do look like the actors ;-)

Good luck getting him!

AF Manufacturers have gotten so good at replicating likenesses and I like the look of these two, but at $199 I’d worry about EB’s history of not producing the quality shown in prototypes. Happily for my pocketbook I have no interest in Western figures but I sure do like look at them. Looking forward to seeing pics of these blokes when someone actually has them in hand.

Thanks, Robin. I have never bought any Enterbay figures so I do not know if their figures live up to the promos. The photos look great, but those are not the actual figures for sale ;-D. Excellent reminder about that fact.
