Opal Outside!

Inspired by recent photos by Roxanne and by Kim, I took Opal and my camera outside. I love the results. Natural light does a doll wonders ;-D.

Ah, Opal against the stone ...

Let's zoom in for a closer look ...

I'm NOT saying that she's showing off ...

No one passed by when I took these photos. Cars - with people driving them - passed, but I didn't hear any screeching so no harm was done.

Thanks, Niel, Kim, and AiS!

Yes, this is the first time I've taken photos of my dolls outdoors since I started this blog.

Opal borrowed the top and the shorts from Get Real Girls' Nakia. Nakia came with a basketball, but Opal did NOT have one with her. Opal borrowed the top for her run; she does not play basketball ;-D

Opal blushed and smiled at the compliment, AiS. I like this curly-haired Opal better than the straight-haired Opal. This hairline looks better IMO.

Natural light does wonders for photos. You definitely need to take more pictures outside.

I LOVE Opal, she's a great looking doll. I like the curly haired version better, too. Much more approachable ;) The weather looks nice at your house! I'm jealous!

Yes, definitely going to take more photos outdoors, E.A. ;-D Now that I can afford now LOL.

SG, I prefer Opal with this hair style. Since I have both the straight and the curly haired dolls, I "pretend" that they are one doll just wearing her hair differently.

(Eh my excuses for keeping duplicates!)

Oh and the weather is supposed to be cooler and rainy Friday and Saturday. Pout. But I LOVE the way it was yesterday, today, and will be tomorrow! Sun will come your way, too, SG. It's just overdue here in Philly. We need to have a lovely Spring to compensate for the monster snowstorms that we are NOT accustomed to. (I'm using the royal we there because the day left me feeling happy and hopeful.)

Great outdoor shots! I wish the Get Real Girl Dolls were still in production. They are sooo nice, have a few myself.

Hi Evette!

Thanks for the photo compliment :-)

Yes, I like the Get Real Girls series, too. Well, maybe their heads are a little too big. I have Claire, Gabi, Nakia, and Skylar. Which of the dolls do you have? Do you have any online photos of them?

A nosy collector (me, me, me) would LOVE to see them. Broad hint, huh? LOL
