Mrs. Maud Mavis Hadley's Holiday Wishes

Mrs. Maud Mavis Hadley, the Reverend Hadley's wife, sends her wishes that everyone had a happy Easter, Passover, and/or Spring Break.

"Did I get all the holidays, dearie?"

I think you did, ma'am. Anyone who feels left out can write and let us know.

You're welcome, she'd reply. She's tucked in with her husband, the Right Reverend Isiah Ezekiel Hadley. Someone needed to acknowledge the holy holidays; who better than the minister's wife?

And yes, they do have neat names ;-D

Mrs. Maud Davis Hadley makes an awesome pastor's wife. She has the most important requirement down pat -- the sister can sure wear a hat!

Hello, Miss Vanessa, Miss Chynadoll, Miss Limbe Dolls, and Miss Marta! Thank you for your kind wishes and attention to my hat. This ensemble is from the Barbie Millicent Roberts Limited Edition line; it is called "At The Opening" Fashion Set, 1997.

Between us ladies, I must confess, I had to leave a snap unfastened in order to "fit" the dress. But I do believe that it was meant to be worn by me. So bright and cheery, it is and so suited to my role as minister's wife. My dearest, right reverend husband does not always appreciate these niceties or the sacrifices we women make ... sigh. Still, I know my duty and I fulfill it as best I can.

Hark, my dearest, most profound bellows - I mean, calls and I must answer. I wish you all a blessed and happy Monday.

Mrs. Maud Mavis Hadley,
Wife of His Right Reverend Isiah Ezekiel Hadley

I glad to see more dolls out of boxes and having fun with you! I love her outfit and hat! It looks like what you would expect to see on the pastor's wife. Hope you had a great day!

Hello, Ms. Leo! I had a pleasant Easter. Thanks for asking. I am deboxing and playing with some "new" stuff and selling some other stuff.

Hats are a weakness for our Maudie. But that's a small weakness, isn't it? I suppose it depends on the circumstances ....
