New in 2013 ... Taller Bratz by MGA Entertainment

Happy New Year, all!

It's 2013 and guess who's grown a few inches? You guessed it - the Bratz girls. I visited a Target store and saw an Xpress It Sasha. Here she is.

I did not compare her with any of the nearby Barbies, but here's a link where Bratzboulevard mentions the new Bratz Xpress It doll height - with a comparison photo. Are you thinking about the rebodying aspects? I am. Then again, Bratz Xpress It dolls have click bend knees instead of articulated ones. [And the legs are not so very shapely ...] So maybe not ... until I see someone else do it successfully, lol.

Additional Bratz news or Bratzillaz' news ... the Midnight Beach Bratzillaz are out. They glow in the dark. Impressed? Not me. Shrug. Anyway, these three were available at a Philadelphia Target:

Cloetta

Sashabella

Yasmina

I am thinking that I will pass on these lighten-up beach bunnies. I might buy one of the Xpress It dolls though. Might.

Hello from Spain: Happy New Year. I had not seen before at higher Bratz. They are very original. I like. Keep in touch

That X-Press It Sasha is on my wishlist. She's so great, I was almost tempted to buy one with wonky eyes the other night, but I'll wait.

Interesting - I wonder if they can now share clothes with Barbie as they seem to be close to the same size.

Hi Marta, MissSpottyJane, and Carrickters!

@Marta - glad that you like the new Bratz. I saw your dolls having fun with their "Invisible Friend" exchange.

@MissSpottyJane - oh, yes, it is always best to wait to find one without wonky eyes.

@Carrickters - the Bratz seem to be thinner than the Fashionista Barbies. They remind me of fuller-bodied Leggies. So I think there might be limits to sharing. Shrug.

My goodness, click knees! I guess I don't *really* mind click knees but it seems half butted to me. Just like the Ken fashionistas with upper but not lower articulation.

Ah well, when I find one on clearance I'm sure I'll get it just so I'll have a new body type to inspect.

I'm not a fan of "glow in the dark" anything so I'll pass on those Bratzillazs.

Hi Muff! Happy New Year! Click knees are a pain after articulated knees. Shrug.

Glow in the dark is fine for keys, maybe.

I love the new taller Bratz. If I were still collecting, I would probably add a few of those. I LOVE their clothes and the thought they could fit on Barbie is very intriguing. I don't mind click knees as long as they arms and wrist are articulated. Danielle has had click knees forever.
