Hot Toys Presents Marty McFly from Back to the Future!

Is Back to the Future a favorite movie of yours? Next year will be the 30th anniversary of the movie. And big stuff in playscale are in the works.

Joining the ranks of other Movie Masterpiece Series figure by Hot Toys Limited is Marty McFly from Back to the Future coming to us sometime in 2015, possibly next Spring. You can read Paul Nomad of Idle Hands post about this figure. Michael J. Fox fans, check out this figure. The promotional photos look accurate. They even have this action figure a little shorter than the standard 12". I think the figure looks accurate, but then again, you might want to hold off until the actual produced figures appear. Still, you have been warned so start saving if this is a must have figure for you.

Additional information about playscale Marty McFly can be found at the pre-30th Anniversary movie website or at the Hot Toys Facebook page. (Thanks, Stephanie T from Facebook for the link to this figure AND and thanks to Omar from Facebook for the photo of the car from the movie.)

Oh, yes, it seems that the car will be produced as well. The DeLorean. The Hot Toys version of that car is one incredible vehicle. From the photos, I mean. I have not seen it in person. Sniff. Sigh. But I like how the doors open up on vertically. None of my doll cars do that. That's a cool car. No, I am not likely to get it. It will probably cost a few hundred dollars - and be worth it, if you could afford it. And it lights up. Yeah ... wow.

So if anyone gets the DeLorean, please, please do share photos. Or videos. I can admire it from afar. Sigh.

Well, I do like Back to the Future. I love time travel movies. I do like Michael J. Fox. And I do wish that I had more money that I could splurge on Hot Toys stuff. I will join you in admiring this one from afar.

Hot Toys does such impressive work - I don't think I've ever seen one of their figures that didn't blow me away.

Still don't actually own any of them, but I can't deny the awesomeness!

Hi Muff, RoxanneRoxanne, and jSarie!

@Muff - oh yeah, they got the details down. Way out of my price range to date.

@Roxanne - I agree with you on all points. I'll be saving Flickr photos ;-)

@jSarie - yes, I almost expect the Hot Toys figures to breathe. I have some of their True Type figures and wrote about them: body, faces, and Ken comparison.

Maybe someone will buy me a lottery ticket, lol?

I remember when Back to the Future came out. It was fun to watch, although I'm not a fan of the movie per se, nor am I a big fan of Michael J. Fox. Still nice to check out well made toys, and I hadn't heard about this, so thank you!

I am not necessarily a big Michael J Fox fan. I AM fan of that doll! It is awesomely made I didn't see any prices.
Maybe God didn't want me to see them. LOL

Hi and thanks, Barb the Evil Genius and The Grandmommy!

I enjoyed watching Back to the Future when it came out, too. Can't say it was my favorite movie, but it is a fun one. Michael J. Fox, I admire for his advocacy.

The doll though is Hot Toys special. Lifelike ... almost ;-)

I really loved the movie. And the car looks so cool! I'd love to get it when it becomes available, but I'm sure it'll be out of my price range. I guess I'll be admiring it and the Michael J. Fox figure from afar. :-)

Hi Cindi Mortensen! Yes, the movie was fun. I don't much like cars in 1:1 scale, but there's something exciting about them in playscale, lol.

I was thinking how the online photos will allow the car to be "so close and yet so far." Sigh. As if I have the room though. Piff.

Thanks for stopping by.
