Resistable Blythes ... How Did They Get Here?

Everyone who reads PhillyCollector knows I do NOT collect Blythe dolls.

I  maintain, I do NOT collect Blythe dolls.

So how did these photos find their way into a new Webshots folder for that mini creature? How!

Could they have jumped from Niel's blog? No, that isn't possible. I refuse to believe it.

Or could they have been entered by a certain British doll who finds them adorable because they resemble her? Thinking ... thinking ....

Webshots Folder Updates

I've added a One2Believe folder to my Webshots albums. You may notice some other updates to other photo albums. Enjoy!

Updated Webshotos Albums

I've updated some of my Webshots folders and added two new folders, Barbie and Generation Girl Barbie.

Stop by if you like. Thanks in advance to all visitors.

Webshots Updates - New Folder for Mattel Playsets

I have made additions to my Webshots folders. I will add more photos over the weekend. Stop by for a look if you can.

New: Mattel Kiddies Webshots Folder and Kelly Link

Kellys are the doll equivalents of M&M candies. Neat, sweet, bursts of bright color. Tiny starfish hands, big eyes smiling at/with you. Just too adorable, you coo. Well, I coo anyway ;- D. You think, oh just one or two, but end up with piles of them LOL. Well, maybe not piles, but bigger collections of them than I ever intended.

I have added some Kelly and friends photos to my Webshots photo album ....

Also, here is a Kelly Checklist suggested by Therese of Dolls of Color.

One suggestion though: do NOT eat your Kellys. The plastic and vinyl are probably toxic to humans. And how can you enjoy the sight of them if they're dinner?

We Do Exist - Asian Playscale Men

I've always been grateful for the diversity among playscale action figures.

At first, I just wanted GUYS for my female dolls. (OMG that sounds awful ... the Kenization of action figures!) That's how I began looking down the green aisle or the action figure section of toy stores and online shops. I didn't like the early Kens and there was only Ken and Brad and then Ken and Curtis so I got G.I. Joes and other 12" male action figures. Then I noticed something: action figures represent Asian, Hispanic, and Middle Eastern guys as well as White guys and Black guys.

I gathered twelve of my finest Asian male figures - two are missing from this photo because they are still boxed - M & C Hung and bbi Elite Forces Asian. Hung has been photographed; he's in my M & C folder on Webshots. I will upload the Elite Forces Asian guy's photo later this week. Please view both photos because all twelve are not visible in both photos.

Happy viewing!

Better Integrity Janay Photos

I have added a few more photos to the Integrity Playline folder I have at Webshots. Please see at this link:

Photographing the Deboxing Project

I'm thinking that I might take photos of the filled shelves as I "break down" the DAFs and other items. Might create a WebShots folder for that purpose. "Before" and "after" photos.

Considering that ....

New (to Me) Power Team Photos on Webshots

I was checking for sources for M&C Toys' figures, Power Team and StarRunner, when I came across three Webshots photo albums that took my breath. (Well, I kinda did a gasp thing and then held my breath a few times. I was that engrossed. Whoa, this is turning into an "en" night!)

Here is the link:

Repeat to self: I cannot afford new figures at this time. I cannot afford new figures at this time ....

Sigh.

New GessHu100 Story on Webshots

Fans of the Paramus Chronicles, Michael aka GessHu100 has a new photostory, Meeting Mr. Right - Chapter 0ne online in Webshots. So far, the story has had 614 hits. It's standard Paramus quality with the additional bonus of viewer feedback requested regarding voting out characters.

Please note: Meeting Mr. Right is an adult story.

Uploaded New Integrity Playline Photos in Webshots Album

I've uploaded more of my Integrity playline - Janay and friends dolls. Have to correct some typos - ack! no! - but there are now five pages of photos. Some need to be deleted, but I'm too tired tonight. Some are surprisingly good or at least good to my weary eyes.

Here's the Webshots URL:

Feeling Blue ... Need Paramus Cure

Okay, this is off-topic, but it segues to something on topic so I'm posting it anyway. Did my taxes today. Want to cry. No, not really, but the results aren't pretty. I owe the state, and my federal return just about covers the cost of Turbo Tax. Bye bye visions of Fashion Royalty dolls.

Sigh ... so I need a pick me up.

Buy Therapy is out. Did some Organizing Therapy yesterday. So I'm going to read some doll and action figure photostories. Roville doesn't have anything new ... that is, I'm caught up with those stories. So something cheery, something bright -- without a question, it's some Paramus Chronicles that I need to read.

The Paramus Chronicles are photostories by Michael aka GessHu100 who participates in various Yahoo DAF Groups. The Chronicles are stored on Webshots. I don't want to say more than they've got drama and humor and interesting interiors. Great place to go for some addictive doll and action figure storytelling. Here's the link:

WebShots PhotoAlbums

I have an account at WebShots that I am going to tie-in with this blog. I will be able to reduce the photo space I use on Flickr/Blogspot for my posts here. That space reduction would reduce my load time, too. I'll see if I can include that WebShots account here tonight or tomorrow morning.
